Took a couple day ride through Nordegg then on up to Jasper and back to Edmonton. Plan was to explore the trails around Nordegg but I was a bit behind schedule to meet some family in Jasper and the trails I had been waiting for looked a bit wet. Anyhoo, here's some pictures.

Was a very good weekend. Great weather and no traffic. On May long it's going to get quite busy up there.

Next time out I'll probably stop short of the mountains and poke around Nordegg area. Seen and heard a lot of good things about the Foresty Trunk Road.

Thanks all. Much appreciated.

Nice pics Lone but that propeller bike does not look like an R1?

I had it heavily modified then threw some BMW plastics over top of it.

Yeah, I'm crazy like that.

:p

nice pics. what camera are you using to get them?

Canon Rebel T1i

It is the perfect DSLR for people who are essentially casual photographers. It has a ton of depth so you can do some truly stellar stuff with it if you know what you're doing (which I clearly don't haha still using auto-modes....even though I swore I never would...). But every picture I have ever taken and posted on this forum was taken with automodes.

It's awesome. Quite compact, and throw an IS lens on there with a little bit of zoom and you'll never need to open it up again. And it records video in 1080p.

I love Canon.
