K&N Air Filter Perfomance

Thanks for that info! I pm'd you earlier asking where I could find some of the imported items. I just ordered the Rizoma Dynamics and the Pazzo Shorties. I will have the following MODS completed by this Friday:

Dual Headlamp Mod (gratuity goes to BD )
Frame Sliders
Puig Light Smoke Windscreen
FE KIT

I can't wait to add the mirrors and the levers, then probably the exhaust and air filter. Speaking of the K&N Air Filter, do you guys notice a performance gain?

Cheers

Another question: Do the Rizoma Dynamic Mirrors require mounting adapters for an '07 FZ6?

Glad you found everything you needed bro! Can`t wait to see your modification complete

About the K&N, hmmm I had one and it added about 5HP I`d say... there are however, strong chances that it was all in my head... :Flash: :Sport:

hold up, where are you planning to mount them? on the front fairing? that may not be easy... if that`s what you`re trying to do, post pics of your current mounts so I can check it out :)

Thanks for the heads-up. Check out the pic below. I have the factory front fairing attached. If i remove the stock mirrors, it will leave the fairing with holes. Do you have any suggestions? I reallly like the high quality of the Rizoma mirrors.

Nimzotech - I've seen some really nice looking rubber plugs that fit into the holes. I'll see if I can find the link some time today.

So, if I understand correctly, your goal is to take the stock mirrors off your front fairing and mount the Rizomas on your handlebar? Is that what you want? That would be fairly easy (clearance should be ok), and you'd have to plug the holes on your fairing... (do a search for rubber plugs).

If you want mount your Rizomas where the stock mirrors used to be, then we`d have to take a look at the mounting points themselves... to see if you could adapt them somehow.

lol You may not have noticed, but this forum welcomes an international community... so we have links for shops from all around the world.

Indeed, the currency for shops in Europe is the EURO, not the US Dollar... that's how it is and I can`t do anything about it :)

I agree with you that the offer for aftermarket parts in the US is quite small... it is unfortunate, but again, that's just how it is!

If you are serious about buying parts from Europe, you can always post up your list and ask if ppl can help you... again we have ppl from all over Europe and the world on this forum, so with a little luck someone nice will help!

Good luck.
