Yeah, looked good until he low-sided

Then again, must have been a problem with the bike....... ;)

More likely, he was pushing a little too hard....not unusual for tyhese guys to have little oopsies in first practice at a race meeting.

Bit peeved off that One HD isn't showing the practice until 10:30pm WA time. Thought it would be earlier .......

God - it's great to have the racing season going again

WTF!!!! Fastest in 1st practice on a circuit the Ducati hates

Now, message to Casey. Gp's last more than 6 laps.

I have a feeling the GP10 is a very different beast to former versions of the Ducati Moto GP bike....I have a feeling thatDucati is going to have a very good this year, and be at the pointy end of the Championship, both Manufacturers, and Riders Championship's.

Its only in its 2nd Gp, IMO the GP10 is a phenomenon.

Remember Casey's title year in '07. The factory Duke's 'bookended' the entire field not only in qualifying, but in races. Im not trying to slag off Melandri, as I am a fan of his abilities.

But it is starting to show that Ducati can build a bike for the freakish abilities of Casey and allow a good rider in Hayden be on or very close to his pace

Melandri has been a huge disappointment the past few years.

Shame as I like the guy and I think he could do so well.
