Hi can you help me here please?

I've shipped to Yoshiki, another forum user a set of Yamaha lower fairings off my 08 Fazer but as I got my dealer to both fit and take them off, we're in the dark exactly how to fit them on his bike.

Anyone got a how to? a set of instructions you could scan up here? any recollections of how you did it perhaps?

Many thanks

Simon

badly rusted bolt i cannot take out. (yamaha produces such stuff?)

i presume these plastic fasteners (not sure what are they called) are to joint the left and right side of the fairings.

sorry, I don't have original instructions :(.

anyway, fonts are the last thing you need to see because there is nothing much too read, just follow instructions and you can't screw up :).

btw.
check that you have all mounting parts(compare with first picture)
if there is missing some bolts,nuts...you can zoom in little bit and it's readable (dimensions)

looks like i am missing those washers.. that big gold thing is missing as well.. actually, quite a few is missing. but if mostly its bolts and nuts, no issues, as long as those crucial brackets are there..

Hi Yoshiki

I think you'll find the gold thing is actually 2 x soft collars that stick inside the fairing around the indicators holes - have a look, IIRC they are there, just maybe not that colour any more lol!
