Buell Headlight

So it may just be me but I have been searching for a couple hours now and can't seem to find a Buell headlight setup (headlight, windscreen, blinkers, and possibly mounting hardware) anywhere. Tried searching just about everything I can think of found a few close knockoffs and some SV Bandit stuff but not any legit Buell Headlight assemblies for sale anywhere. If anyone knows where I can find this please let me know. Thanks, JR

Does anyone have part numbers to order from surdyke? Their site doesn't exactly make it easy to know what you're ordering. I looked at their site yesterday, and they had two headlight assemblies for sale. One was for Headlight Assy, World ($160); the other was Headlight Assy, World, Left & Right ($92). They don't have pictures of any of their products, so I'm not sure which one to get, or even what the difference is.

Here ya go. I have to give thanks to armystrong for this as I was in the same situation as you and had no idea how to find the Buell headlight setup either!

You'll notice there are no prices listed for the windscreen mount screws and washers...that's because they don't carry them. The easiest thing to do is take the bracket to Home Depot or Lowes and just find screws that work.

Just copy these part #'s and paste them into the search function on Surdyke and you should find everything you need.

Is the Buell lamp side or bottom mounted? Also, I've noticed a couple of people have gotten headlight brackets for their Buell lights from Flyncycle.com. Has anyone tried the "dominator" headlights from there? They are round and appear to be quite similar to the Buell setup. Just curious. Thanks.:thumbup:

Thanks man huge help, as soon as I finish the motor build for my car I will be attacking my bike. This info helped me out alot, I will most likely be posting pictures of the whole headlight swap process when i get to it.

No problem at all, privateryan. I'll be attacking my conversion here in the next couple of weeks, and I can't wait!

At this point it feels like a carefully crafted military plan...lol. Every detail has been checked and rechecked and the only thing that remains is the execution.

There is the perfect kind of cheap fork mounts to use with this headlight set up. Search the forums. It is off e bay for around 20$ for left n right. I posted it here in diff threads multiple times. Those will make your life easier and it will look clean. Flyncycle stuff also has been used and works.

PS. " Is the Buell lamp side or bottom mounted? " im not sure what you mean but the brackets hold the headlight from the top.
