Why is it so hard to find 43mm fork clamps/headlight brackets???

Ok, so my naked conversion is almost a go (I'm starting it after Christmas), and I'm still running into the one damn part that's hardest to find! I'm almost at my wits end!!!

I'm using the Buell headlight and I'm simply looking for some aluminum fork clamps/headlight brackets in 43mm, but it's nearly impossible to find any that don't cost half the price of the headlight/windscreen bracket/windscreen combined!

I'm to the point where this one item is going to stall out the whole damn conversion. I refuse to pay $80 for the Aztec ones, as the fork clamp part is plastic and that just won't do. Surely, out there somewhere, there are aluminum fork clamps that will do the trick that cost ~$40 or less.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I've done searches...I've pulled my hair out...I just need a bit of help! LOL...

Scroll down but none of them are cheap. Machined billet aluminum is not a low cost deal.

I love mine though. Just a work of art when you actually see them.

Did you ever have any luck with those fork mounts? I've found some for 50 - but would like some other options.
