Looks like it will be the "Aliens" (Rossi, Stoner, Lorenzo, Pedrosa) +1 next year! I really hope Ben Spies matches it with these four next season...i think we might be on the edge of a new "Golden Era" in Moto GP.....Ya know...just like the days when we had Lawson, Rainey, Schwantz, Gardner, Doohan...and to a lesser extent, Beatty, Koscinski, Magee, and Mamola....

Criville dont count, cause he was only as good as Doohan's data!!!!

Great to see Spies doing well - nice guy.

Don't like Stoner - (yes, I know he's an Aussie.......) but all he does is moan when something goes wrong, and he's quite rude when you meet him....

Pedrosa doesn't smile.

Hayden had a raw deal and bad luck.

Lorenzo will take the title in 2012, not before.

Rossi - legend and, possibly, the greatest ever. It is hard to compare him with the likes of Ago, Hailwood etc, but he is a freak. He will take the title next year, and possibly 2011. Then, unfortunately, he will retire from motorbikes and head to rally.

Then I will become a rally fanatic... LOL

It's going to be a great season! I'm going to try and make it to Laguna Seca next year to see it in person.

Yes i agree, met Ben Spies at PI earlier this year....seemed ever so relaxed, pleasant, and well mannered....

Would love to see Nicky get on top of that Duc next year, and get back up the pointey end of the grid...

Casey is a bit of a tool. but you cannot deny his talent....

Pedrosa is just a midget that can ride! no personality!

Rossi is an awesome rider, but as a person......dont get me started!!!

Would rather see Spies win a Championship on a Yamaha, more tham anything though....

But Casey will win the Championship next year, Lorenzo will be second, Spies 3rd, and Rossi...well, he will quit mid season, and go Rallying!!!! Well, that's my fantasy anyway.

I've been lucky enough to meet Vale 3 times at the Island - and he has always been gracious and willing to pose for photos and sign things for me. Maybe you were wearing a Biaggi cap!!! LOL

Thank God. Nothing worse than meeting your Idol and he's an a*****e!

What has he done to you?....

Massive time difference between the top n bottom guys isnt there , I also see yet again Casey continues to be the only person who can get the best out of the Ducati  It cant be that fickle , can it ???

Lol! Valentino aint done a thing to me.....i just dont like him at all, never have...I think he is awesome for the sport, and undeniably one of the greats of the sport....but he aint all "roses" IMHO, i reckon he has a tendancy to be less than graceful in defeat (on the odd occasion it happens), and has a tendency to use his position in the scheme of things to get his way....etc, etc...

My Idol, is Troy Bayliss, absolute gentleman, awesome racer, gracious winner & loser, and as about as down to earth as they come....cant ever remember Troy blaming anything for losing, and he always seems to be the first to congratulate the winner in defeat...

The humble champion of the people...

WOW. That's devotion. Happens to have 3 of my 4 motorbike heroes (Barry Sheene being my 4th) on his back.

Very impressed. Pity Rossi is on a Honda....

I took that at Donington Park at the 2006 MotoGP.

The blue Rossi shirt in the bottom left of the picture is my wife, who is the biggest Rossi fan in this country :)

Excellent. Bet it was great to go there. We usually go to Phillip Island to watch the SBK and MotoGP.

I happen to be the biggest Rossi fan in Oz. I've followed him since he first started. I have every minichamps 1:12, signed helmets, signed photos and have been lucky enough to meet him and have my photo taken with him a few times.

I am obsessed.....
