Hi everyone

This is my first post ever so please be kind if I stuff something up...

speaking of which, I had my fairing/tank/sides repainted and it took much longer than anticipated; now I look at all the parts and wonder where it all fits together (a smarter person than I would have taken pics along the way)

I have searched around in the 'How tos' but cannot locate anything actually re-installing the whole front fairing/headlight assembly

Hoping someone can point me to an existing post or give me a hint of where to start..

cheers
Bob

check gozilla's and boneman's threads on the HID angel-eye install. That involves total removal of the front end, and they give step by step details on how its done. You'll be able to work it backwards from that.

It's a bit late now, but I found it easier to take the whole fairing off in one piece and strip it once off the bike (this was the second time round, the first time I did it the hard way :)). I have seen some threads here showing the disassembly/assembly taking place on the bike and that is just too tricky.
