One of the country's biggest Yamaha dealers, Centurion Yamaha in Pretoria, has launched an online store. I see on the website that the store itself is delayed a bit as it was supposed to go live on 30 September but the rest of the site is up and looks pretty good!

If you want to compare prices, the following exchange rates apply:

ZAR 7.37 = USD 1.00
ZAR 10.84 = EUR 1.00
ZAR 11.70 = GBP 1.00
ZAR 6.56 = AUD 1.00
ZAR 6.96 = CAD 1.00

Hmmm curious, i thought Yamaha was finally going to take some initiative.

Just a dealer, although the site is too busy (IMHO), looks cheap.

But then i'm still pi$$ed because they had a track day recently and wouldn't accept my IXS gear, because it wasn't leather .... lol

Don't know if this is the place to ask a question but anyway - Did Yamaha ever (more specifically, 2005) produced an FJR1300 in the color "Pearl White"? Did the 2005-FJR came with panniers? And what would be the reason to buy a Touring Bike in 2005 and only register it in 2007? If you can buy a 2005-FJR, what would a reasonable price be?

Christo, lotsa questions, not sure i can answer ANY?

Maybe a chat with a yammie dealer could help you?

I've never seen a pearl white FJR. It did have optional panniers though, i believe thats a standard option.

As for buying 2005 and registering 2007 .... That doesn't sound right.

Possible bought 2005, circa 2006 bike dropped, rebuilt, re-registered?

Pics? Details?
