OK
First off a huge thanks to
Brendan (Raidtherevenge) for the photo working skills.
And a huge thanks to
Nate (Defyinertia) for the photos of him riding.

Ok these designs are very very open to ideas, thoughts, and changes.

Anybody have any ideas for a slogan? I think
Ride Naked
is ok but there has to be something better.

Or maybe nothing is better.

Also what do you guys think is fair for pricing?
I am willing to spend $15-$22 a shirt.
I think we should donate a shirt to Brendan and Nate for thier contribution so that will be worked into the cost.

Then the major question.
Does anyone want one? LOL

How it will work.
If we get agreement on some designs I will get cost. We will collect commitments, and decide what the costs will be. At that point paypal for the shirts will be collected or checks or what ever works for you.
The shirts will be ordered and shipped to the owner.

Here are some ladies designs.

I like the idea of something on the back but it cost quite a bit more. It up to you guys.
I still am trying to figure out what a ceiling price is for everyone.

Here is a special one for Danny.

See he lives in California, and he is not a hippy. This would make the hippies think he was cool, they would come up and try to be friends, and then he could spray them with pepper spray and taze them, while singing the "Dont Taze Me, Bro" song.

Here are some more. I think these look better than the others.

I'll take 2 in the first color. I'm not sure about the slogan though. Ride Naked really doesn't do it for me, but if you guys like it them I'll go with it.

Let me try to come up with something witty! I'll also throw in a extra few buck for the donated shirts.

I'm not much of a fan for "ringer" t's. It's a clothing term when the collar and sleeves have a distinct border to them. Also, it usually costs more. You should stick to a basic-semi-heavyweight 100% cotton t-shirt that will provide a better quality in printing and the overall wear as well. Avoid 50/50 materials such as polyester. I'm also not much of a fan for big pics, I like my shirts to be conservative, with pocket logos, print only is fine with me. Embroidery is also an option, but will be more expensive. I also prefer golf shirts with collar vs ordinary t's. But again, more expensive. You asked for my opinion, just my thoughts. Will I purchase one, probably not. Sorry guys.

Also, you may want to consider spelling out the abbreviation. So that the average person can identify that the FZ6RC stands for FZ6 remote control.

As far as slogan's...I think Sportrider mentioned this before and I liked it and use the slogan quite often. "When it doubt, throttle out."

stands for FZ6 remote control

I'm hoping it stands for riders club and not remote control!:p

I like ringer shirts though. I wouldn't be opposed to a golf shirt though.

LOL
Its FZ6 Really Cool kids club. LOL

Like I said its going to be a while as things get worked in and people come to a agreement on what looks best and is the best value.

I like ringer Ts but thats me.

My last order was embroidered for my business. It was Haines tagless T's all Large, 24 of them in assorted colors with a flame angelfish embroidered and Serene Aquatics. They were not to expensive but the bigger it gets the more stitchs and the more it costs.

I really like the last one, but then the red kind of caught my eye too :p.

Can we add flames? And maybe a scull and cross bones?.....oh and there could be a mermaid riding on the bike. Hmmmm, what other cliches did I miss.

Really, I like it how it is now. Plain, simple, not too big.....put me down for one.

As for a motto, what about.....
"The headlights not out, my bike's winking at you."
or
"Don't listen to the other guys, <insert color here> is faster."
or
"The amount of fun you are having is inversely proportional to the number of wheels you have touching the ground."

That last one might be kind of wordy:Flash:

First off;

I'm very impressed with these designs! They look like exquisite T-shirts you can buy from a motorcycle collector store. Grandeur. Nice work Wrightme43.

My only 2 recommendations would be to consider a pattern for the back of the T-shirt and perhaps the slogan: FZ6-FORUM.COM
I really like the yamaha tuning logo, but there's the issue of copyright...

Again, nice color design! I really like the red one. The workshop might offer several different styles of T-shirts besides 'ring collars.'

my thoughts:

First thanks for the idea of t shirts.... I like that.

I personally would not buy a "ride naked" ... why... well I have a fairing and do not neet to explain that about a million times.

I also do not like the rings on the sleeves and neck

a plain color with pic of an FZ6 and FZ6RC would be my choice...

a slogan is fine too....

I love t shirts so I am interested.

Like the photo as selected/modified, etc

Shirt design - photo only on front, FZ6RC on right sleeve and slogan at nape of neck in relatively small font. I think this setup would look best on a regular (not ringer) tee. I have nothing personal against ringer tees in other situations. I like black and the basic tee color with maybe a combo of white/grey and red ink (think white/grey for the pic, red for the sleeve and then split the slogan half/half to highlight the part you want. I'm willing to pay any reasonable tee price if I like the design.

Slogan - I wouldn't buy "ride naked" 'cuz I don't, "When in doubt, throttle out" is good, another idea is "To add fun - twist wrist" - could replace fun with other selections in this one.

Love the Shirt idea, I prefer white shirts. Would also like the polo shirt option.
Not keen on the "only ride naked" as I have a fairing. Shaggys "the lights not out", winking slogan is good. I will have a think on slogans as I can't think of anything better than those mentioned already.

Nice one guys.

Just in case: is there any possibility to get a ladies model with a little tighter fit? BTW, I liked the first one but "riding naked" might not be the best choice of slogan for me. :p

Ok, from reading you guys response.

1. Its better with out a slogan.
2. We need ladies shirts.
3. Work on some Normal T-shirts. LOL
4. Work up a couple of Polo or Golf shirt designs.
5. More color choices.

From looking at different sites.

1. We need a run of 25 at least 50 is better to get a good price. At that number we get a big price drop.
2. We will need to run (I think so far) 6-10 of each color/size combo.

Bren and the other ladies. Please let me know. I think most of you dont want pink. Is there a color combo that you want?
Light blue/blue, or would you just want the normal colors.

Do you guys have Hippies in the UK?
If so, do you guys get to spray them with pepper spray? LOL

J/King

I kinda like the tiedye one too. There are also single color tiedye shirts if there are at least 6 people that want one we can do them too. 10 would be better though.

If you can, a pocket would be great. I'll take two if you can get all the particulars worked out. I guess the thing to do is watch this thread and as this comes along you'll keep us up to date, right?
