Arai helmet questions

Hello everyone. Can someone please explain me what are those Arai tear-off for? Presume they are for use during rain but just wanted to make sure. Or maybe anti-bug?

And if anyone used it, does it work?

You're on the right track. Tear-off lenses give the rider the ability to clear their screen quickly and easily. Whether due to bugs, rain, or dust, they just provide a means to get a clear view "on the fly."

I don't have personal experience with them (sorry about that) but have seen them used by riders both on and off road.

also because the tear off's are a softer plastic they will get scratched easier (so you just throw them away) but it helps to keep the shield from getting scratched.
