I'm not sure but I am looking to get a pair, my thinking is that something is better than nothing.

I bought the icon ones. They are craptastic.
They sit in my closet because I tried to sell them on ebay and no one would buy them.
The Cortech ones with brazillian leather on the inside of the knees and the seat would probley be the best, but seriously hook up on some real riding pants.
Remember crashing your bike as a kid and how bad the knees hurt?
Knee armor, hip armor, armored boots, and abrasion resistance is the name of the game, if you like walking and all.
