SW-Motech Racks - Help please

can anyone tell me if it is worht the extra money for the quick disconect locks..

really my question is that once the bags are on the bike, you cant use the quick disconects to take the bag and the plate off right??? any pictures for all this would be great too :thumbup:

when i looked into buying these for my vstrom this was my understanding:

1. you can leave the racks on the bike and remove the bags only.
2. you can remove the racks and the bags as one unit.
3. the plate is part of the rack, therefore you cant remove the plate from the rack (i think).
4. if you dont get the locks for the rack, then somebody could potentially come by and remove the rack and bags, because the bags will be locked to the racks.

well...guess i have to get the locks that go with it then...
