Biketober Fest

I rode about 200 miles today....taking a circuitous route to Daytona to check out Bikeotberfest.

LOTS of bikes --- the majority Harleys but a few sport bikes in the mix.

the cruise along A1A all along the Ocean was very nice.....

I left my Harley at home and rode the FZ6-- when I hit SR40 I had a guy on a Harley try to run my FZ6. In my head I was like...."pal I have one of those in my garage and it is SLOW by comparison" I walked him rather effortlessly... like that country song goes " what was I (he) thinkin"

I am sure there are Harley's built to drag and what not ...not this dudes bike.

I did see a nice lookin babe on a Boss Hoss Chopper in candy apple red... rode beside her in traffic for about 4 miles.... nice ride (oh and the bike was pretty too:rockon

I went to Bikeotberfest last year .
The coolest part was going into the pit at the Daytona speedway and watching the sport-bikes race around the track. Those guys were flying.

I have a Harley too.It's a cool bike and comfy to ride on long trips but not built for high speed.

If I can talk the wife into it we may go over tomorrow to check it out.
