I made this as a reply to another member, - and he twisted my arm to put it in the how-to section as well:

Howto post pictures inline in a message.

I presume that the picture you want to insert in the post is already uploaded to your album.

Click on the picture in your album:

Now copy the contens of the box Picture URL. (Mark all text in the box, and press ctrl+c or right click on the marked text and select copy)

Now, in your post, click on the "Insert Image" icon:

Re: Howto post pictures inline in a message. part 2

I usually just take the image codes off my photobucket account (I think other photo sharing sites have a similar option).....seems less confusing to me, and gets the same result.

Just another option.

Good to know about the album pictures though, I didn't know you could do that.

It goes for any photo/image you find on the internet, - you can normally lift the Picture URL off the image by right clicking on it and selecting properties.
Depending on which browser you use, it will show up in the pop-up windows you see. Just look for "Address" or "URL"

hmmm,- looks kinda weird ...,- are you sure you followed the how-to exactly?

I've managed it now, thanks - actually, I didn't do anything different from your advice or what I'd done before...so perhaps it was just one of those little glitches that come along every so often.

Must be the dreaded IP-gnomes that were out to get you, - glad it worked out in the end!
