question for the naked guys....

Wether you bought a naked or built a naked, you should be able to answer this for me....

Does your headlight turn with your forks? How about you speedo/tach?

I am in the process of building a "streetfighter" and the mounting kit for the headlight clamps on the fork tubes..... I wasn't sure if this would be a problem or not. I was thiking of using the original fairing stay (after I bend it back to shape) but it seems the headlight will be really far from the front of the bike and would look stupid to me.... any suggestions? TIA

Everything follows the forks when you go naked as everything is mounted to them.

You can use the fairing stay, but like you said everything will stick out further than if you were to mount them to the forks. The Triumph is one that is mounted with a fairing stay like bracket, I think they pulled ot off pretty well.I guess it would really depend on what light you plan on using.
