Track Day! Who's in?

David! Whats up dude! Wish I could make it to the westcoast for some track riding, dont even have the money for track riding here in TN though =\

I'm the Pit Crew member who had the mishap. In a quick summary I left his Buell idling on its side stand while I took pictures and it simply walked away and fell over. Just a couple of points of damage but I felt awful.

Nice day with a big crowd, David rode very well and had no issues.

Yea, on the wrong angle they are known for doing that. Dropped my firebolt once, snapped the peg right off. Those things are very easy to break.

I'm just glad it was nothing major and no one got hurt. First thing I thought of when he said the Buell got damaged was that he took it out on the track, since he had mentioned it before, and really did some damage to the bike and himself. Glad you're doing well buddy and that the day was relatively uneventful!

David,
You looked really good out there! I want to get a track bike!

Doh! I can imagine.

Remember that thread where someone was saying experienced/responsible riders NEVER "drop" bikes in driveways etc. lol :BLAA:

Thanks Rob and sorry for Sat. but there was no way I could have made it... hope you had a great party! When are you leaving for the West Coast again?

They didn't include Harleys... they're a bit "special" :tard: :D

John is the best pit crew ever... he took times, photos, helped me setup and basically cleaned up after I was done... YOU'RE THE MAN THANK YOU!

For some reason I prefer left handers on the gixxer... I need to work on the right now, somehow, I am too tense to be able to achieve proper form when going right...

Yea, had the Firebolt that I totaled out, and sold the CityX I had gotten. The size of the FZ6 is much more comfortable for me, and I find myself riding it more than I did my Buells. Guess I got tired of the harley v-twin after a little while.

Makes sense, the FZ is an awesome bike.

Alright it's time to look at scheduling my next track day now :D

Thanks ma brutha! Cali Photo takes great shots... I did buy shots from him in the past, so I am sure he's OK with me taking a couple here and there :)

2 weeks til our big ride! Can't wait...
