Headlight “mystery”

I have a 2013 Yamaha fz8 that I bought used. There is a Yamaha logo above the headlight where it looks like there would be some sort of LED or backlight but it does not light up. I have a attached a picture and circled the area in green. Does anyone know if there is an oem light that should be there (I don’t see it referenced in the parts diagram) or is there an easy add-on that would allow for an led light?

Is there a socket that a lamp would go in? It looks like it would be a running light which is generally a low wattage bulb. I know people have used the rubber type running light socket used on the R1 running light. This might be a place to start. A 2005 R1 uses this typ socket if I remember correctly. Can you get a picture of the back of the assembly where it would receive the socket?
