So my throttle and clutch cables both need adjustments and are both v. near their limits at the bar adjusters, so I need to get to the others, but of course some genius engineer hid the damn things behind the frame. So I have a minor project sometime in the next few weeks, but I wanted to check...
I changed my spark plugs and as part of that process (to make access easier) I removed the battery, battery cage, and the airbox. After putting the airbox back on it just doesn't look right, and can't quite tell if its on correctly. I feel like its sitting on top but not actually clamped around...
up for grabs here is an airbox cover with the mod done to it. Got from someone on this forum 5+ years ago. the cutout is so neat it hardly looks like a modification at all

my clutch cable decided to give up the ghost yesterday and on trying to get the old one out it appears I have to remove the airbox? Or is there an easier way, there appears to be an adjuster half way down the cable that stops it being pulled through up the side of the frame and out...
Hey, so I think I've read all the airbox mod posts already so please don't tell me to search... So Im thinking of drilling 6 small 1/4" holes in the airbox. I will have installed a dynojet fuel controller just prior to this mod to richen up the fuel a bit as I have Delkevic pipes with no baffle...
Well i had the tank out. The airbox out.. now how do i remove the throttle bodies?
I saw 4 clamps with screw just like the airbox
Do i loose those clamps and the bodies come up?
Any other screws?
