I mounted a pair of these to the fender mounting bolts on my FZ6. I wired them using one of his dimmers so that on lo beam they were on about 50% power, but when I hit the high beams they came on full power.

I was $265 for full coverage on my FZ6 in Houston. Went up by $20 when I switched to my FJR. I'm with Progressive. Give 'Flo a go.

I used the motodynamic light as an add on and not replacement and it worked just fine. I worked the principal that you can't have too many lights.

I had a pair of these hooked through one of his automatic dimmers on my FZ6. I loved them so much that when I "upgraded" to an FJR I transferred them to that.
My average MPG on my FZ6 for the last 11,000 miles I owned it was 44.70 (10946 miles on 248.5 gallons). Since I replaced it with a 2007 FJR my MPG has dropped to 42.04 !! (1728 miles on 41.10 gallons). I ride the same way at the same speeds. the big difference is the FJR has a 6.6 gallon tank so...
