I think you might want to invest in some better tired. after 800 miles of a break in they should grip great. I only had, maybe 75 miles on my Pilot powers before it rained and it worked out fine. I read a little brochure on the bridgestone BT016 tires. I like the compound layout on those alot...
Kids of America ya know? I blame it on all the video games that are out now a days. Games like Grand theft Auto, and manhunt. Why cant they play good ol' holesome games like...MotoGP :)
To Everyone that has given their 2 cents on this website. I may not post as much as everyone else, but i do check this website religiously (even at work :)). This website has given me great ideas for mods, help improve my riding, and overall keeping me safe on the streets with everyday new...
The good use of having a 14/52 is that i stunt, my fz and my zx6r. So it allows me to pop faster at lower RPMs or clutch in a higher gear. As for going down to a 15 it will give you a quicker take off, adding a little more torque.
I originally went -2/+1 but it wasnt pulling up in second with...
sintered? whats that. It feels more spongy than anything. its on the front brakes that we replaces, and when i apply pressure, there is a resistance, just not as much as it was giving me befre, i had changed the pads.
In these pics are my SS scorpions, my own personally built fender eliminator, and personaly built turn signals, ConvertiBar Handlebars, my cut windscreen, and my mirrors taken off and replaced with a CRG handlebar mirror. :)
So today me and my friend changed the brake pads to the FZ. we put the aftermarket EBC pads on. So we changed the pads and flushed the fluid one at a time. filled the bike with fluid, tested the brakes till we got a stream coming out of the hose and filled it with brake fluid (dot 4). got on...
I would recomend the CRG handle bar mirrors. I bought one yesterday put it on my bike, ohhhh man are those things clear!!! and adjustable for your riding position. the mirror its self is a little bigger than the top of a soda can. I personally enjoy them :) happy mirror hunting
2007 fz6's come with a 16 tooth in the front (mine did at least) so you would convert to 17. As for if saves gas and such, i'm not too sure. I believe you would have to change your gearing as it might feel thqat you are trying to take off in second gear. (correct me if i am wrong). I am interest...
Well I've got ConvertiBar handlebars and in order to have put them the way i was imagining, i dropped the front about almost an inch. With that I was hopeing to raise my back end (about an inche to compensate), and stiffen it (stoppies, i weight about 210).
Does anyone know of any good aftermarket "taller" shocks, other than Ohlins? Ohlins is just "a bit" tooo pricy for my taste. Or know if any other bike shocks are compatible?
heres the jist, Yesterday, I was trying to adjust my front forks by rising them up (lowering the front end) but when i took off the front fairing, and the bolts that are holding them in place, they are not moving. (discription:
Heres the front forks ~~~> ||-||
and it has a bar/ring...
