    Weird handlebars from ebay

Handlebars 22mm 7 8" Motorcycle Sport Bikes for Honda Yamaha Kawasaki Suzuki B K | eBay So I'm looking at these and they look pretty cool, kind of like inverted clipons. Problem is, I don't know if they'll fit or if they'll work well on the FZ considering the buzziness of the bike. Anybody...

    On/Off, harsh EFI

I have a power commander on mine and at times it's still a bit choppy but way better than it use to be. I'm using Chances map whom also is a forum member. One of the veteran members looked it over with him and it's basically one of the maps from the power commander site but with 10% increase at...

New brake caliper piston seals - which side is inwards/outwards?

I'm about to replace my brake pads and happened to come across this thread. Seems I should probably do the seals as well as the front isn't spinning freely. Can I get these parts at my local autozone or do I need to order online? I guess I need to get some more brake fluid as well as this...

    Air Box Mod, Sounds Good!

Wouldn't it be better to get an aftermarket filter than doing this?

    Purchasing new brake pads

Rotors feel smooth when running the finger over them. They look fine as far as I can tell. I've recently replaced the tires so the rear and front came off a few weeks ago and the breaks haven't felt very good since. Pads are definitely worn but it was a significant loss of firmness to the...

    Purchasing new brake pads

I'd like some more bite to my braking and the front is definitely worn. Ofc anything new will feel awesome, I'm just saying that I wouldn't mind spending a few extra bucks on a better brand. Is there anything else I should do other than clean/grease the calipers. Anything specific I should...

    Vibration help

I saw you mentioned sea foam. I've used it twice on my bike before storing it and just after I bought it to clean the internals. I didn't really notice a difference post use. Make sure all important nuts are torqed to spec, handlebars, axle nuts, engine mounts, drive train etc. You've...

    Vibration help

Have you done a TB synch? A lot of my vibration disappeared after doing it. Still vibry but that's because I have no bar ends. I ride it for about 1.30 h before my hands go numb

Video Found - My Exact Idle Problem

I noticed while syncing the TBs that my # TB was in more than the manual calls for. I believe someone mention it should be 3/4 to 1 full revolution out. Mine was between half and 3/4. Maybe I should redo the TB sync and move # out some to maybe a full revolution. I'll probably install the PC3...

Video Found - My Exact Idle Problem

I'm having the same issue. Loopy idle and like the other guy I can't disconnect those connectors. Once the bike warms up and I fiddle with the idle I can get it to almost perfect where it stays at 1380 and sounds great. Then I take it for a ride and 5 min in it starts looping again. I've...

Help me choose my first replacement tires

I just replaced mine with Pilot road 3 and I think they're very good. Grip inspires confidence and I managed to get them for 250 from bike bandit.

    Question on throttle body sync

Yes, the synch tool has to be calibrated before each use, using TB #1 Do I have to pull the air box too or is it enough raising the tank?

    Question on throttle body sync

Here's what they look like and if I'm reading this right, they go into the end that goes into to TB correct?

    Question on throttle body sync

So I bought the motion pro sync tool and I'm reading the manual before I get to work on the bike. It all seems pretty straight forward, I just have one question about the restrictors that go in the end of each vacuum tube. It looks as if they block off the end of the hose completely which...

    Replaced tires, squishy brakes

I didn't touch the pads. Only removed calipers from rotors and hung them by zip ties while replacing the tires. Fluids are less than 6 months old. Maybe my pads are starting to wear out. I'll try to take some pictures.

    Replaced tires, squishy brakes

So I replaced the tires last week and the brakes aren't as firm as they use to be. Will bleeding them solve the problem?
