My first real bike was a Suzuki Marauder. My 2nd bike has been my Fz6. If I had known now what I knew then, I would have skipped directly to the Fz6. It really is the perfect first bike for a new street rider. Yes it's scary fast, but only if you get the revs up. If you're just cruising...
Update. I had the strings I was using for alignment off and that was throwing off all the measurements. After straightening the strings out and getting them like they should be, I am only off a little less than a 1/4" (less than 4mm) so I'm not going to worry too much about it.
Basically...
Hey guys, my wheels seem to be offset but the alignment is good. I replaced both tires about 500 miles ago myself. Obviously, I pooch screwed something on reassembly or didn't get everything aligned.
Assuming all spacers/washers/bearings are in the correct location, any ideas on how to...
You got PM back OP.
Edit* Also interested in the foot brake/clutch levers. I know you list them as tentatively sold so let me know if that deal falls through. Thanks OP!
For $35, it's worth the gamble.
The crampbuster is awesome. I haven't tried to use just my fingers tbh, as I just use the palm of my hand and rest my hand on the grip. With the grip puppies over the softer grip I have installed, my fingers don't get numb whatsoever nor do my hands. Well...
Yeah, I was eyeballing those as well and may end up buying a set. Do they droop alot? Was also considering the Nelson Rigg SPRT 40 bags. Are the bags as big as they look on the sample pic?
Bought this bag off of Amazon not expecting a whole lot. I gotta say, I'm very pleasantly surprised at the quality for the low dollar investment. The zippers don't feal cheap, the material used is nice and thick, and there is some padding at the front so if it's full, it won't hurt your back...
^^Yeah, I was going to say that a private transaction would net around $3K-$4k depending on condition and cleanliness. Trade-in, you'll probably get screwed out of about $500 or more. Is the extra bones worth it? Only you can decide.
I have this opinion myself, that any bike no matter age...
I've watched the video several times now and read the different news stories and opinions. All I can say is that I'm glad I don't associate with squid stunterz like that and if it were me in the SUV with my wife and three sons, I would have went all Carmageddon on their butts too.
Only problem with relying on that, is that you are responsible for your deductible under the homeowner's policy. Better to just have gear coverage on your bike policy.
I know most people would say that riding during the day is safer, but personally, I feel safer at night. Part of it is traffic I'm sure or lack thereof after rush hour. But part of it seems that I'd be hard to spot during the day on a dark colored bike and moving in and out of shadows and...
