Falling in the dirt is way different than falling on concrete. I've been down in the dirt twice so far at 20ish mph and once on the concrete at less than 10mph. The concrete was much worse and if I didn't have on my jacket with shoulder armor I would have probably had a broken collarbone.
LOL, he said heat and discomfort in "Ontario, Canada".
If I go for any type of sport ride I have overpants, jacket, helmet, boots, gloves on. If I'm in town I will squid out and only wear helmet and gloves, in 110+ degree AZ summer heat. The overpants and jacket only get toasty after 80...
I've seen a lot of chronic pain patients. I've seen the results from both cadaver and their own ligaments. I've seen people get great results with their own ligaments with a little residual pain from where they take the tissue from usually the hamstrings. I've also seen people with great...
Hope you enjoy them. The first 3,000 miles is amazing, the last 3,000 miles if you push to 6,000 be a little more cautious. They like to step out a little more.
I've had S20's, PR2's, PP3's and PR3's as for my resume
The Pilot Power 3's were by far my favorite for the first 3000 miles of their life. My front lasted 10,000 miles and I had 2 rears, one lasting 4,000 (replaced early before a long trip) and the other lasting 6,000 miles. The front...
Sorry, I came off like that before. I'm a little cranky. Doing a weight loss program to drop my last 30 lbs to get ready for my first track season and I've noticed being hungry equals being grumpy. Everybody has been saying I'm a bigger smart ass than I already was before.
From everyone...
Just out of curiosity. Why are would you even go to the track if you're not going to push the upper limit of your riding ability? Secondary to that why would you go with a used tire that is partially squared off that will affect your turn in/lean in while attempting to go fast? :thumbup...
We have some speed signs around school in the Chandler/Gilbert/Mesa that change during the day. Not sure on the statistics.
I have been advocating for years that they do something like this on the highway. Imagine during rush hour if the speed limit was dropped to 45, so that it would...
From what I've experienced so far. If I'm going quicker, I will sit back, knees up and into the tank. I don't get that far off the seat any more, maybe 1/2 to 1 cheek off the seat. I found keeping my elbows relaxed and almost just dropping them down will make for smoother initiation of lean...
Look for frame cracks, I'm not sure the year but the first year (get them confused with the Fz1) of the Gen II Fz6 had an issue with frame welds.
If the bike has been sitting and not being ridden then the fluids will likely need to be changed out; oil & filter, coolant. If the original air...
With my weight (240) if I shift/butt slide a half a cheek them I have to counter steer to keep the bike upright (push outward on the handlebar to keep the bike up) when the I begin the corner I lean from the waste to actually start to turn in. Most of the time I keep the handlebars relatively in...
