If it's a deeper tone then there's a 99% chance they're drilled. I don't see why anyone would go through the trouble to custom fab an exhaust that looked just like the stock one.
From that angle your cat looks stock. The most common cat mod is to replace it with a straight pipe, which is...
It's just a delete, you might be best served (both time and money from shipping) to just go to a nearby muffler shop and have them fab you one. I'd go with stainless steel, a bit pricier but it will never rust.
Confession: I squid it up every now and then too... :$
But also living in DFW also, the Gixxer takes the top spot by far. But I see more CBR squids too. Gixxer's have the biggest brand recognition as far as street bikes go, and they typically have more "noticeable" coloring/decals relative to...
Parting out a bike that tastefully put together just feels like a travesty. Gorgeous bike, mrtrees.
As soon as I manage to get some real time on my hands, I've been planning to go full naked for a while. And your bike is basically a similar vision to what I have except that mine's all black...
My bike is Lilah, my current "fun" car is Izzie and my previous "fun" car was Ella. I also don't give a vehicle a name until I work on it and customize it someway to make it my own. :)
Any idea what shipping is to 75038 and what size woman fits in it? :P I would be very interested in this for my girlfriend, I've been trying to get her to ride and I'm slowly acquiring gear for her.
Dang I really wish I would have seen this earlier... I was in Ft. Worth at the TCU game and I would have swung by and taken that Puig screen off your hands!
I assume you're selling the Madstad with the bike? Good luck with the other stuff!
Dibs on the Puig if it falls through with Beatle.
+1 for the track. I did my first track day a couple of weeks back and it was just an absolute blast. The biggest difference is that I could go fast and just focus on the riding, I didn't have to worry about all of the morons around me - it was the absolute best. Seriously, you have to try it at...
So if I'm interested in this, can I just buy the parts from Ron Ayers and ship them directly to you? I'd rather not lose out on the riding time (I live in Texas ). How much lead time would you need?
I'll never forget this... It was the very first day with my bike, I had just driven it home and pulled into the driveway. I was so excited, I had been waiting years for this moment. As I hop off beaming with both pride and excitement, I instantly realize that I forgot to put the kickstand...
