Thanks for all of the info and opinions, I greatly appreciate the help. For the amount of riding I do and the price they seem like a pretty good deal plus the local cycle gear stocks them. Since I think im long overdue for tires based on age I think they will be a good fit for now. As time goes...
Hey all,
I see a huge number of tire posts on here and am still a bit of a noob when it comes to this stuff. I just got an email from Cycle Gear with what seemed like a decent deal on some bridgestone BT-016 Pro tires for $179 + install. I don't track my bike and just mainly ride the city...
instead of creating a new thread for a problem i encountered i figured id just update here. So 2 weeks ago when i created this thread i was replacing my clutch cable, installing a new ignition lock cyl and taking out my drop-in h4 hid kit to put the standard halogen h4 in, i had the whole front...
Thanks for the info like I said I never felt the lens before with the other bulbs I ran just happened to feel it tonight after my ride had the headlight assembly off to replace my clutch cable and ignition, I'd really like to run a projector hid setup but currently don't have the funds
Ya like I said I've got a relay setup I'm running so I know the low is shutting off when the high comes on and when the low is on its only the low. Maybe the heat is normal I just wanted to make sure before something happened
Well i hope this is the right subforum for this question but a little over a year ago i bought and installed the VS-2 kit from vishnu which has been great, i love it, it came with the crappy 35w bulb which was really bad with not much for light output. I later bought and installed an H4 hi/low...
Just remember there is a reason OEM manufacturers use 4300k bulbs in their vehicles...i have a 6k bulb in my vs2 kit(got the hid kit as a bday gift) the lighting on the road is very blue and i can tell a huge difference between it and a 4300k bulb in my car
Id recommend the H4 harness as thats what the stock bulb is in the VS-02 kit. i would also either buy motogiro's relay kit to allow for both high/low functionality or create your own so that you can have the bi-xenon capability
When i bought the bike from a friend he had a rear fender eliminator kit installed with some cheap led turns, with factory front turns...the lights always flashed fast due to the leds. Ive since removed the led turn signals and installed a motodynamics integrated rear brake/turn kit, ive also...
Highly recommend buying from Vishnu(dev_usc) he has excellent customer service skills! This question for Vishnu, Do you offer just the upgraded light itself as i already have the VS-02 kit but love the look of the projector/hid kit
