Haven't done enough miles on the divi to have an opinion on the seat as she want allow me to play that long. I do realise my bike is getting long in the tooth but I'd like to try a few mods to see if the handling can get a little closer to the divi. The build quality on the two bikes is miles...
I'm no expert on this but I always shift 3rd upwards without the clutch. I blip the throtle very quickly and it justs pops into gear. I dont feel any mechanical wear what so ever so I sure there is no stress on the gears doing this else I would feel it. When you get this right its so smooth and...
I rode my wife's 2010 600 Diversion back from work today and I wish I had not. It rides like a dream. Easy to turn on the corners feels secure on the rubber and slow riding is easy. I love my FZ6, I love the chunky tyres, the twin exhaust, the build quality etc... etc.... but the feeling I had...
I Was just about to purchase motul 7100. Which I can only find online. Most counter sellers look at me like I've asked for the impossible when I've enquire about it. But can get 5 ltrs delivered for £44.99. However on my search I can across this study of a few motorcycle oils...
I'm going to try a semi synthetic. My gear box tends to be a bit clonky so that may help it impove. I'll see how it goes. Dont mind paying the price for oil as long as your not paying for just the name. Free's up more cash for more miles
Only been using the WD40 on exposed metal parts prone to salt attack. I having to apply it more often but its cheaper then ACF50. Was thinking if I had the ACF50 applied by a professional it may stay on better.
LOL.. The therapy is not going to good. I keep telling myself when I buy another im going to sell one just dont get around to it. Im told this is normal behaviour... Iv sprayed my bike with ACF 50 but with the constant hosing down iv found its worn thin quite quick so iv purchased 5ltr of WD40...
Its good to know I'm not alone. I tend to look out the window in the morning and if there is snow or a very heavy frost then that's my limit. Iot has testted my clothing as well I now there weaknesses as well. The one gripe I have with winter riding is car drivers. I take it easy when the temps...
This is where I'm at. 42 years old. Rode a bike for the first time last May. Got my full licence September. (Now have 5 bikes but that's another story I'm getting counciling on). I haven't stopped riding and I'm told im. Mad. -6 today but roads were not bad. I felt I could get more experience by...
This will be the first service I have done on the bike so I don't know what's in it. I have since posting this checked the air filter and it's brand new so the dealer I purchased it from has at least done a service before I had it. But I'm still going to do the oil so I know where I'm at with...
I'm just about to do my very first service on my recently purchased bike. Got 19k miles on the clock. Iv purchased a carb sync thingy and just about to order the filters and oil etc... Filter i'v read on here is best with the nut on the end for ease of removal. Are there any advantages of buying...
