I was just going to ask if anyone used scotch-brite pads instead of steel wool. I used it on a SS dirt bike head pipe but never spent any time polishing it... All these polished pipes look surprisingly good on this bike. I may have to try it when I take the radiator off.
I just top my bikes off with 91 non-oxy (not sure if you have that there) and make sure the battery is fully charged. They always start up in the spring without touching them for about 6 months. This includes carb'd and FI street bikes. I'm in MN as well, and last winter was not fun.
5'6" with about 28" inseam. My weestrom is a little taller with a wider seat, so I'm glad I have off road experience since I can only get one set of toes on the ground.
