I picked up a pair of these quarter chaps at a motorcycle show, and they're great! They're not so bulky and clumsy as chaps but they keep the rain and cold wind off my legs. They're easy to get on and off and they're easy to stow when I'm not wearing them. 301 Moved Permanently

Not exactly motorcycle gear, but tuning up my old bicycle brought back memories. Cycling shoes :( To fit in with other riders with their silly shorts and Pompadour helmets I felt I had to have the fancy shoes too. Painful to ride with, impossible to walk... (CLACK CLACK CLACK!). I do well...

It's nice that they DO have the show in January. It's our motorcycle therapy to get us through the winter. If it was held in spring or summer nobody would come -- we're out riding! :rockon:

I'm planning to go. I'd rather be riding, but have to take what I can get in January even though it's just looking and trying on some helmets.

I wouldn't. Either the Plasti-dip wouldn't bond with the helmet plastic and would flake off and look like crap, or it would chemically bond and possibly weaken the helmet.
