    plastic repair

Best i have found is Permatex Plastic Weld. It contains the compound methyl methacrylate which is what you will find in industrial plastic bonders. I repaired my headlight mounting studs with it and it's still holding after 2 years. JB weld marine putty let go inside a year :(

Running stock cans with de-cat pipe

I bought a used mid pipe and cat for my S1 to experiment with this. I knocked out the catalytic element and installed the pipe, only thing I got was a tiny bit louder but massive vibrations. Vibration went away when the stock pipe and cat went back in.

    FZ6 fumes from exhaust

Standard operating characteristics as far as i can tell. Mine does the same when it gets colder, takes a minute or two but it creates a pretty good plume of white!

    swinging arm bearings help

I put together a 2x4 box (log cabin style) a little higher than the center of the bike, tipped it up on the sidestand and had a helper position the block roughly where the center stand bolted up. Pay attention to where the weight is bearing. I had my swingarm off a little while ago (also an 04)...

Disassembled and cleaned swingarm, bearings, tube and seals. Blasted and cadmium plated bolt to deal with corrosion. Lubricated everything now just waiting for my new chain and sprockets before everything goes back together.

    Warped front fork washer/guide?

I created one of these by forgetting to remove the retaining ring before slide-hammering the fork tube out. Replaced the bushings, seals and washer after that one. Luckily didn't damage anything major.

    Mystery Turn Signals, Help Identify

My google-fu and ebay searching have failed me so far. nothing even remotely close to it. Figuring out the drive current is less about getting it to just work, and more about knowing the maximum power rating for the particular chip being used. Initial testing gave me a pretty typical forward...

    Mystery Turn Signals, Help Identify

Hi Guys, I am trying to identify the below turn signals I acquired them second or third hand. I have no idea who made them or anything. They are rather bright, single-chip LED and in a cast housing. They will be going on my bike as soon as I figure out how to drive them properly Thanks...
