Whats the make/part number for the OEM filter?
I can find a bikemaster filter around here that says itll fit the bike, those any good?
EDIT: btw i dont live in a very dusty area, BUT the parking lot at my work is all dirt with 18 wheelers driving through it all the time. My car is covered in a...
Why would you pull your bike up so the pump is on your right? You get off the bike on the left, so you pull up so the pump is on your left.
I don't think ive ever seen a bike pull up with the pump on the right side before.
Unless youre just going to stay on the bike i guess
Thanks for the replies guys!
Will definitely be replacing the sprockets and chain soon.
Btw I'd love to hear from anyone else that went down teeth on the front sprocket and up at the back. I'm considering it
Anyone know the oem spec size for the front and rear sprocket, and for the length of the chain on the 2005?
Its not in the manual and my googling has given me mixed results.
I know this info should be online somewhere but I cant find it. If it is just a link would be cool. Problem is there are...
Damn I was hoping you wouldnt say that. I just ordered a set of new tires, wish I had read this before I placed the order so I couldve added sprockets and a chain to that.

My sprocket does seem a little worn though, I'm glad you mentioned it. Definitely looks a little...

My reason for asking is when I was getting the bike safetied the mechanic who is a friend pointed out the chain seems really loose, but that he didnt know for sure because he doesnt know the...
The only thing I bring for first aid, and this is true, not a joke. I bring a couple Percocets I have left over from a car accident on every ride.
Because I dont think I can fix a broken leg with any first aid kit, but at least I don't have to wait for the ambulance screaming in pain.
Anything but yamalube haha.
I questioned them a bit further and found out when they stopped making the 10w30 yamalube, ALL yamaha bikes that previously recommended 10w30 were changed to 10w40 within a year.
I asked if there was any new information that they discovered that maybe caused them...
Ok, I finally got an answer from yamaha as to why they started recommending 10w40 oil instead of 10w30. Their official response, and I don't think they thought this answer through before sending it out, but their official answer is they started recommending 10w40 over 10w30 because yamaha...
