I would say take your time and take it easy untill you feel comfortable again. Just make sure you dont go too slow in traffic, the last thing you need is to get rear ended in a turn or something.
Man I really hate to hear that. My best friend was killed when a simi truck ran a redlight due to his breaks not working (the driver knew they werent working and could have fixed them with a 30 dollar hose) on his bike. He was pined under the trailer tire. R.I.P. to all our fellow fallen rider:(
Hey just remember to keep looking up. A lot of times when people go slow they tend to look at the ground right in front of them, and that will really through off your balance... .Im not experienced either, only about 4 months of riding an 06 FZ6 myself, But im just trying to help ya out.
