Hello everyone. I'm interested in purchasing a new seat, as the stock sit is pretty awful, in my opinion. I get sore rather quick. I found a few threads discussing the Comfort Seat, Corbing, Terry Acdox, etc., but they are all a few years old. What is the state of the after-market seat scene at...
I stopped by the shop to check out the bike to confirm the front end was bouncing. The mechanic was able to compress the suspension a good amount while standing next to the bike and it would pop up quickly, whereas other bikes he showed me had a much slower uptake after the suspension was...
The bike was wobbling while straight line braking. The bike did not swerve and maintained a straight line during deceleration. The nose did not jackhammer. I tried replicating it on a different road that day but could not.
I should note that the bike was dropped on its left side last year...
I'm located in Middlesex County, New Jersey. If any local member is willing and able test ride, I would be more than happy to rendezvous.
All that having been said, does it sound like changing the fluids will do the trick or is the problem likely routed elsewhere? Don't want to pony up...
I took my bike (5k miles on odometer) to the shop the other day. There were two areas of concern:
FIRST, the rear end would sporadically become 'light' on right hand turns. It was an unnerving feeling like the rear tire was gliding. I was not flying through turns or using the back brake, and...

Thanks for the replies everyone. I don't recall this behavior prior to the drop. The handlebars are likely the culprits. The left side bar took the brunt of the force on impact and upon visual inspection something looks off, for lack of a better word.
In response to your question, the bike...
Greeting ladies and gents. I am having a steering issue that I hope you can help me with. A little while back I dropped my bike on the left side. Low speed, essentially stationary. Please see link below. I was able to fix the cosmetic damage, but have since noticed that the steering is a bit off...
I wear my hockey padding on top (elbow guards, padded shirt) under my jersey, so impact wise I should be ok. On the bottom I have tsx boots, sliders jeans, Hitachi knee guards, and padded hockey shorts with hip protection. I may opt for a textile jacket if the Kevlar is too expensive, but given...
Crazy glue project complete. Looks brand new, minus the scratches on the turning signal. Have rode the bike a few times since fixing it and hit a few good sized bumps on the road going at a good rate of speed. It still holds, and I hope it stays that way. Cheap fix worked. ;)
