I got mine done at proyamaha (now ultimate yamaha) in Springwood, moss st and from memory it was around $700 but they changed everything. The bike felt completely different :p this was about 6 months ago so shouldn't have changed too much. :-)
Thanks Motogiro for all your help :) I still dont really understand why they had load resistors wired into the in the subharness, because the turn signals still flash at a normal rate when they arn't wired...so I dont know :P
and yes fb40dash5 I decided to leave the indicators on for more...
Yep
Just cut the black wires coming of the sub-harness (keep the yellow & blue one)
the black wires are load resistors you dont need them unless you are running LED's on the back in the future.
Hi motogiro,
I had emailed the motodynamic team earlier this morning and just got a reply, he said to cut the two load resistors that they include in their subharness, I have removed the two from their plugs and it is working now, is it safe to do this? Or is removing these resistors giving too...
I have a Ogio no drag Mach 3, I can't fault it, it's really comfy, has good back support and padding, the shoulder release clip makes it easy to take off and put it on. It has reflective piping and reflective ogio badges, has a 15" laptop compartment, another two for books/paper and a few...
Hey guys I just installed the motodynamic taillight and spliced the factory taillights in as well. All indicators work fine except when I turn on the hazards. They blink once and then cut off, brake light stays on but blinkers stop, it's as if its blowing a fuse.... but if I cancel the hazards...
This is a great tail light there are some dead spots though during the day light where it would be hard to see the LEDs. But a secondary brake light on the turn signals would fix that :-)
Hey dangtienanh,
yeah I agree I much prefer the two bros over the quad lazer, although is there a scaling problem with the exhaust on the bike or is the exhaust not for the FZ6 because it seems too big? if you know what I mean?
what if you went for the quad lazer pipes?
not sure if it would fit with the design though? but they are much thinner.
other wise looks sweet I love the monster rear end!
I have two bros on my S1, and they are deep and very loud without baffels but..my god they sound amazing at top end revs. I installed the TBs myself took about...1-2 hours mainly because I had to make a few trips to the hardware store because I cracked my socket wrench...along with a few bits...
That's for your reply Townsend the fluids should all be in good nick as the bike has always been serviced by yamaha and has always had yamahalube and genuine fluids used in the bike...and has had it's major service where all fluids should have been replaced...ill look to the adjustment of the...
