Wow that's a fine deal! If I didn't just install FAZR6 kit, I'd get this.

nice, thats an unbeatable price!

assuming the connectors in the pic are for the turn signals and that if you did not want the turn signal feature, you would simply not connect them to the taillight, correct? all i want is tail and brake.

does anyone know how the tail/brake connect to the led circuit? twist on to the stock harness plug or must you tap into the wires?

Based on the picture, it comes with 4 plastic tap dealies. So yes, you have to tap the wires.. no direct plug to stock harness.

I couldn't tell you what the problem is. I used my card and it worked fine. I bought footpegs for my SV and they are on the way.

Do you have any kind of script blocking on your browser?

I ordered one and paid with paypal hopefully the quality is good and it is nice and bright. I've been debating on an integrated clear tail light since i got the bike and at that price if I don't like it I might be able to sell it for more than I bought it for.

The resistors are load resistors to simulate the load of an incandescent directional lamp to make the flasher keep it's flash rate the same. I wouldn't use the tail lamp as my directional for a few reasons. First reason- most people won't see it. Second reason- Probably not legal in most places just because it doesn't have a safe separation distance. I've seen the integrated directional tail lamps and could hardly see the directional. Not a good idea. The LED tail light is awesome! Haven't seen this particular one but it looks good. I would also test it with a 12 volt dc source before installing, just in case.
If you do opt to use it as a directional you're are better off getting a replacement electronic flasher assembly. They are not expensive and you don't have to figure out where to install and insulate those resistors. You will save a few watts on your charging system with one of these tail lamps.

100% agreed. thats why im keeping my stock signals. i too have seen these kits in action and dont think the led flashers are distinct enough.

thats why i was wondering how the tail/brake tied into the system. according to the pic there were only 4 taps, imo, two for each signal leaves none for tail/brake. that theory goes out the window if each turn signal needs only a one-wire tap in.

ill pass on what i find out when it arrives.

Usually they are wired to a bulb base and you plug that in where your original bulb is.That is for running light and brakelight.Turn signals are wired separately.

that what i was looking for. i figured this is the case, thanks! itll be nice if i dont have to tap into any wires, just for simplicity.

quick ?, will the taillight assbly slide out of place after removing the mounting screws, or will bodywork need to be loosened/removed?

Just curious has anyone ever installed one of these but kept their external signals hooked up as well? Is that possible? I already have LED turn signals that I like but would like the LED brake light as well and I think it would be kinda neat to have the integrated and external signals blinking at the same time, don't know why I do but I do. Probably cuz I haven't seen anyone else do it lol. Thanks for any input.
