I've seen the poll on the weight of drivers, how about your height.

60 - 66 inches

67 - 72 inches

73 - 78 inches

79 inches and above

At 6'1" I find that my legs get a bit cramped on those long rides. Is any one else having this issue?

I am 6'-7", and I do not ride far, but no worries from me. The fathest I have ridden at one time is 120 mi. I guess I am used to be cramped everywhere I go. I am quite comfortable.

I'm just a smidge under 5'10"
I love the way The Fizz fits me, scoot back to take the twisties for a more aggressive seating position or scoot forward to a more upright position to get rid of the upper back burn on long distance rides.

6'5". I do get a cramp at my hip on occasion, even have to stop and stand up. As long as the cramp stays away, I can ride out a tank with little discomfort.

I'm 5' 11" and get cramp at the tops of my thighs now and again, but I survive. I'm probably about the same height and weight of the Japanese test riders who test the FZ6 in any case so lucky fit :D

6' 2" here. Part of the attraction of the FZ6 was the ergo's. Seems the taller you are the harder to find that right fit. Went to the Dallas Bike Show last weekend and many of the wish list faded away as not possible for any everyday riding.

Now that you mentioned it, that has happened to me before, but I thought I was just tired or something.

6'5" here, with 36" inseam. Chose the Fizzer for the ergonomics and had my seat built up a bit. Only other sport touring bikes that are at all comfortable for me are the Triumph Sprint ST and Honda Interceptor. Would have loved a crotch rocket, but at 50 I can't stay folded up that long. I've done 230 miles in a day with no discomfort. I just count myself lucky that the FZ is such a great bike at a great price with a great fit!

I liked the interceptor as well, but they are way to proud of it. How did you get your seat built up? My inseam is 38, so I am very interested in the Seat Build up.

5'6", which would be fine if I was comfy ont he FZ, but it is just perfect for my SV

As an aside, you might want to add a category for the girls who might be under 5' tall. Don't know if we have any, but we aren't all guys and we aren't all tall.

Same height as me.. What was on your wish list? I sat on a 2008 R1 and it felt very comfortable to me, so I'm guessing other liter-bikes would also fit nicely. Of course height isn't the only thing that matters.

You are so very true. If I knew how to add another category I would.

Hey Chris,
I was most interested in the Ducati Monsters (696 and 1100) and the Triumph's. The Duc is very tight but the triumph Street triple was quite good postion as well. I really like the postion of sport touring bikes but also threw the leg over the R6, R1, CBR's and GSXr's. Those just dont fit me well, probably becuase of the more forward position.

6'2" and most true sportbikes I have ridden give me a pain in my hip. Others ahve said you would get used to it and be able to ride longer after a while. The FZ fits me fine with nothing other than a sore behind after a few hours. I could probably ride for most of a day with few rest stops/stretches.

You must be at least THIS tall to ride this ride.

sorry, horrible joke but it just came to me...........

Im 6'4" and the FZ fits me well. Ive done 500 mile days with little discomfort. Sometimes my thighs/hips start to cramp but just standing up on the pegs or a quick walk makes it all better. The only thing i want to change is to a wider bar. Been looking into the FZ1 bar.

My last 250 mile ride was a pain in the neck....actually shoulders. They were aching pretty good. I'm 6' and was wondering if anyone else had that problem?
