Well I sold this bike last year to buy my current road bike. I still miss it all the time and often wonder if I made the right decision. But it was time for a change of pace.

Sweet bike. I'm surprised you didn't get an R6 over the FZ for the track.

That was my plan originally but things didn't work out that way. I will upgrade to an R6 in another year or 2 and the fz6 will become my spare/wet bike. I am enjoying running the FZ6 at the moment, it is very underestimated. Its nice to be on something different and I am enjoying developing it as we go along as well. I have R6 cams and headers to be installed later in the year along with a ram air intake & a pc3. This will give it the top end it deserves and put it up there with the other 600's on the track.

Very Nice! Good news IJET, you now have enough posts to enter a bike on this forum
Can't wait!!!

I think I need to wait another month as I only joined the forum in Feb this year. That's ok because by that time I will have a few extra things done to the cup bike so it will look a little different to now anyway.

LOVE that bike.. and particularly the tri-color paint. I did get to do a track day on it and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Yeah, the engine was warm but obviously the gear box was still a little cold cos I promise you I was pressing up on the gear lever but the quickshifter wasn't working.

Not sure what to tell you about that quickshifter, but great bike man! ABS plus traction control, etc. Awesome!

Was that Keith Code's CA Superbike School, Erci?

Yup! It was worth the extra $200 to do it on S1000, vs using my own bike. I'll be using my own for next CSS though.. now that I have a proper track machine
