I'm happy that this year is more entertaining! Lots of good racing and... wait for it... Ducati got on the podium in a dry race! Say what?!?

Bad news is that Cal Crutchlow crashed hard and got tangled up with his bike. He broke his hand, but he is OK otherwise. His teammate Dovi got his Ducati on the podium. Congrats to him!

For a while "Crazy Joe" Andrea Iononne was holding third place, but given how physical the track is he seemed to get tired and got passed up. He also seemed to have some bad rear chatter.

Bad luck for the factory yamaha guys. Lorenzo jumped the start...badly. Lorenzo said he had big mosquitoes on his visor before the start, took his tear-off off on grid, got confused with lights and jumped. Rossi had a front wheel problem that caused him drop places rapidly.

Great race overall! Marquez dominated of course, and his close call at the end was amusing!

I watched the BT Sport 2 video stream and they had Ben Spies commentating during the race. I wish he would do this all of the time. He's able to provide great technical insight and can pick out the problems the riders have with their bikes.

Selfie: The podium guys!

I was just about to go ride today and saw that racing was on....priorities:thumbup:
The moto3 class...I really like that one. To me it's like sports, pro level is good but college has more action.
I did go ride afterward as it was such a nice day here.

Yeah, that last of the Moto3 race was awesome!!

And did you hear what Marc said when interviewed right after the race about that last bobble before crossing the finish line? Something about wanting to make it exciting for his crew since according to him it hadn't been exciting enough up to that point. lol

Probably gave them heart problems!

Very disappointed for Rossi. He had a bad start (spun the rear and fishtailed a bit), but made up a bunch of positions really quickly. He looked really good .. and then something happened to the front and he dropped way back :(

Very impressive for Jorge to climb back up to 10th.

Crazy race right from the start. Great that Ducati is really improving. Fortunately Cal has no fractures.

Crash.net: 'A fracture was initially feared but medical centre checks diagnosed a dislocated little finger, together with some bruising.'

I spent close to 10 hours watching bike racing yesterday, what a great Sunday! The first Aragon SBK race started at 10am and the MotoGP race finished around 10pm, just paused the Supersport race long enough to go out for a steak lunch then paused the 1000 Superstock race for an hour so to go to the pub late afternoon :spank:

All 7 races I watched were really worth watching for a change

says it all.

Yup! I was looking for that exact pic to post here (saw it at work.. but navigating via small phone sucks).

Unbelievable that with the tire in that condition, Rossi said he had to drop his pace by about 3 seconds! Just 3 seconds?? That's why they call these guys aliens!

Pretty boring MotoGP race but Moto3 was great AND Jack Miller won :)

I think a few people had tyre problems, including Nicky Hayden and Scott Redding.

Do you think it's time they were allowed their own tyre choices rather than a single manufacturer? We all remember Phillip Island last year - what a bloody joke!
